Delicately pale green and smooth-skinned, our Sponge Gourd (also called Luffa) is grown in open fields using sustainable drip irrigation and plastic mulching - saving water and keeping weeds at bay. Hand-harvested at peak tenderness, each gourd is entirely pesticide-free and free of chemical ripeners. With its mild, slightly sweet flavour and spongy texture, it’s perfect for Indian curries, stir-fries, soups, or simply sautéed with garlic and chilies.
